D4Dairy Webinar – Optimising concentrate feed use in dairy cows

The third out of three D4Dairy webinars in January 2022 took place on 26.1.2022. It was organised as a thank you for the farmers' commitment to the project.
Under the title "Optimising concentrate feed use in dairy cows", the topics of concentrate feed efficiency and economic aspects were covered. Prof. Werner Zollitsch (BOKU) presented the results of Sarah Joe Burn's master thesis, which was carried out within the framework of D4Dairy, in his lecture entitled "Investigations on concentrate feed efficiency of dairy cows based on field data". Dr Marco Horn then contributed his experience with his presentation on "Economic aspects". The webinar is now available for viewing at the link below. The Webinar is in German.
