The second D4Dairy annual meeting took place online on 25 and 26.5.2020. The progress in the individual projects was presented to the 71 participants.
In the last year, the focus was on the preparation of data recording, selection and motivation of the farms and preparatory work for analysis. With the support of the LKV, the pilot farms, the D4Dairy company partners and scientific partners the data recording could be started. This was a very important milestone for D4Dairy and could only be achieved thanks to the good cooperation of all D4Dairy partners.

As it was the first time they participated in a D4Dairy meeting, the members of the Stakeholder Advisory Board, namely ICAR (International Committee for Animal Recording), AAC (Austrian Agricultural Cluster) and VÖM (Association of Austrian Dairy Processors), as well as the cooperation partners for project 2.4, namely the companies Lely, Delaval and GEA, introduced themselves.
The projects "Cluster Digitalisation in Agriculture" and "DigiMilch" were presented with possible ideas for future cooperation.
Dr. Christian Baumgartner gave his feedback on the progress of the project in his capacity as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board.

Around the annual meeting, the D4Dairy general assembly and project meetings took place, where the project partners had the opportunity to discuss the progress of the individual projects in detail and to plan further steps.
Although the exchange of information between the partners via the digital meeting was successful, we are looking forward to meeting all D4Dairy partners personally again!
